Guys, you should consider to come to Melbourne after the gig in Jakarta. We need the ecstasy that rushes the blood to the head, and your music does that man. I am a big fan of your music, I’m Indonesian living in Australia. So I guess I wasnt that lucky not staying in Jakarta until the New Years’ eve at least. Otherwise I would’ve been able to come to your concert.

So lucky & happy to meet you guys in the hotel lobby. I missed the press conference but thank God I still could catch you when you were in a hurry for sound check. But you guys were so kind for stopping by that I had some time to take photos with Nuno & Gary (G, love they way you hugged me Thanx).
And the show was soooo…. amazing! Really really love it. Two thumbs up!

Bandung, Meski sempat terhembus kabar akan dibatalkan, konser Toto di Sasana Budaya Ganesha,Bandung, Jumat (14/3/2008) malam berjalan sukses. Toto memuaskan penggemarnya di Bandung dengan lantunan musik mereka selama kurang lebih 2,5 jam. Di akhir pertunjukkan, setelah membawakan lagu 'Africa', sang gitaris sekaligus pengisi vokal Steve Lukather mengumumkan bahwa gitaris Tony Spinner berulang tahun. Seisi gedung menyanyikan lagu ulang tahun. Tidak lama, Steve juga mengumumkan bahwa tidak hanya gitaris tapi pemain keyboard, Greg Philinganges, juga berulang tahun. Kemudian lagu ulang tahun kembali dinyanyikan bersama-sama. Setelah lagu ulang tahun yang kedua, Steve kembali mengumumkan bahwa basis Mike Porcaro, vokalis Bobby Kimbal dan drummer Simon Phillips juga berulang tahun. Akhirnya bersama-sama dengan penonton, Toto menyanyikan lagu selamat ulang tahun. Aksi perayaan ulang tahun massal ini kontan mengundang senyum dan tawa penonton. Meski di antara personel Toto, Kimball memang berulang tahun pada Maret ini tepatnya tanggal 29.
Lagu ulang tahun tersebut menutup aksi panggung Toto di Bandung. Penampilan selama kurang lebih 2,5 jam band yang berdiri tahun 1976 ini benar-benar memukau penonton. Personelnya yang tidak lagi muda memuaskan penggemarnya dengan lantunan lagu-lagu andalan, diawali dengan Gipsy Train, diwarnai dengan medley beberapa lagu 'I'll Be Over You' dan Georgy Porgy, kemudian diakhiri dengan Africa. Sebelum lagu Africa, para personel sempat bersembunyi ke backstage dan baru kembali ke panggung setelah penonton menyorakkan "We want more"
Sepanjang pertunjukkan Steven mengganti gitar sampai 6 kali, sementara vokalis yang berkostum serba hitam banyak menyeka keringat dan minum air mineral di sela-sela lagu. Meski tanpa check sound, performa yang diberikan Toto benar-benar memukau penonton. Hampir semua penonton ikut menyanyikan lagu yang dibawakan. Padahal tidak sedikit diantaranya yang mungkin belum lahir ketika band ini berkibar. Salah seorang penonton, Diana (21) mengungkapkan bahwa dirinya hafal setiap lagu yang dibawakan Toto malam itu. Surabaya, Konser Toto di Empire Palace Surabaya benar-benar terasa istimewa. Penonton kelas festival pun merangsek mendekati panggung utama.
Majunya penonton ke sekitar lokasi kelas VVIP bukan hendak berbuat onar. Melainkan karena atas permintaan Toto sendiri. Nampaknya Toto ingin mengobati kekecewaan penggemarnya itu. Permintaan itu sampaikan langsung vokalis sekaligus pemetik gitar Toto Steve Lukather. "Ayo mendekat ke depan. Kami minta maaf atas kejadian kemarin," kata Steve dengan Bahasa Inggris, Kamis (13/3/2008).
Permintaan maaf ini disampaikan karena penggemarnya terlanjur kecewa saat batal menyaksikan konsernya sesuai yang dijadwalkan, Rabu (12/3/2008). Konser yang sempat tertunda sehari ini, formasi TOTO tampil lengkap. Antara lain Steve Lukather (Guitars, Vocals), Bobby Kimball (Vocals), Leland Sklar (Bass), Simon Phillips (Drums), Greg Phillinganes (Keyboards, Vocals), Tony Spinner (Guitars).
Dalam Konser yang bertajuk TOTO "Falling In Between Live" World Tour 2008 ini, grup musik legendaris asal Amerika ini membawakan lagu-lagu dari album terbarunya "Falling In Between Live".Selain itu mereka juga akan memainkan Hits dunianya seperti: Africa, Rosanna, Pamela, I’ll Be Over You, I Will Remember, Stop Loving You dan lainnya.
